There are a few simple requirements you need to meet to play on a free shard:

• First, you must have a copy of the Ultima Online client. You can get that on the UO Client Download Page, choose “Classic Client.”
• Second, you’ll want a launcher of some sort. We recommend Razor, which you can grab at the Razor download page.

Install those, point Razor at lexia.easyuo.com, port 2593, and hit connect. That’s it! We have automatic account creation enabled, so you can just log in with your desired username and password and the account will be created for you if one doesn’t exist with that name.

You’ll need to register on the EasyUO forums as well (which contain the Alexandria forums), to grab a couple authorization keys. You can have two accounts, and those keys will verify the accounts and provide you with some welcoming gifts. Your authorization keys are in your forum profile and look kind of like this (only without black boxes over them):

Go to the UO Client Download Page, and click the thing in the red box seen here:

Then go to the Razor Download Page, and click the thing in THIS red box:

Once you have them both downloaded, install the client, then install Razor, then come back here and we’ll get the next part done.

Next up you’ll want to start up Razor. It’s the program with the really ugly icon. It also says “Razor,” if that helps any.

Once you have that open, you’ll be looking at something like this:

Just make sure that the following settings are accurate:

• “Patch client encryption” under Client Options is checked.
• “Server” is set to lexia.easyuo.com (it won’t be by default, so type it in)
• “Port” is set to 2593 (it should be by default, but you never know)

That’s it. Hit “Okay” and you’ll be able to log in.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions, as there’s a lot on this shard that will be new to you.
